Recently, we took a drive to Ocean Grove for a guided tour of the new Ocean Grove Chalet. Cabinetmakers Choice supplied the materials and installed the wardrobes in the new quality accommodation located in the heart of the seaside town.
The modern 15-room, luxury style accommodation has a mix of king bed, interconnecting twin and spa rooms and two stunning penthouses with views of the ocean.
And what do stunning rooms like this need to make guests feel comfortable?
Practical but stylish wardrobes. Enter The Wardrobe Blokes, the team at Cabinetmakers Choice.
The Perfect Wardrobes
Beautifully designed, the apartments have 2-door robes throughout. In keeping with the luxurious look and feel, the quality materials chosen for the robes are from Wilsonart.
Wilsonart, (HVG Decorative Building Products is the distributor and the products are available at Cabinetmakers Choice), specialise in decorative panels and include a large range of curated designs and four exclusive textured finishes.
With the assistance of our Wardrobe Design Guru, Ross Sharrock, the colour chosen for the robes at Ocean Grove Chalet is ALASKA, a white that is pleasant on the eye.
The HEWN finish gives it an innovative textured vertical grain, making a quality statement.
And, care and maintenance is easy. As the decorative panels are manufactured from the highest quality materials, usually a damp sponge will do the trick or for more stubborn marks, use warm soapy water (a mild dish washing detergent) via a damp cloth to wipe down the surface.
The main shelf inside the wardrobe has been given an added luxury feel with Wilsonart Compact Laminate CONCRETE 8170.
Highly scratch and wear resistant, it looks like concrete, it feels like concrete. But really, you wouldn’t just hide this product inside a cupboard. It’s an ideal surface for any cabinetry, is moisture resistant which means it can be used in wet areas, it’s really setting the trend in interior design.
Quality, hi-tech door hinges are from Hettich.
The colour scheme used throughout the Ocean Grove Chalet is stunning.
The choice of robes.
Why the Ocean Grove ‘Chalet’?
Whilst it sounds more fitting for a Ski Resort than the beach, there’s a reason it’s called the ‘Chalet’.
Originally built in the 1887, The Chalet was used as a guesthouse for patrons of Ocean Grove, as well as headquarters for Methodists who resided nearby.
In the late 1960’s, the historical building was demolished to make way for new housing.
99 The Terrace was developed by Mark LeMaistre from LeMaistre Builders and local businessman Mark Edmonds.
Plans for building were well underway when it was discovered that the building site was previously the residence of the last known owners of the Ocean Grove Chalet.
It was just meant to be!
If you know anyone who wants to step into a state of relaxation, then Ocean Grove Chalet is the perfect choice for some time out. Visit the Ocean Grove Chalet Website.
